After about half a year it was time again. Away from the everyday university life with research and teaching, the members of the research training group met for the annual retreat - and this even with an increase in personnel. Richard Hohmuth joined the research training group as a doctoral researcher and Prof. Kristin Paetzold as another principal investigator.

During the retreat, the interim status of the doctoral projects was traditionally presented and discussed. However, the focus this year was also on the upcoming interim evaluation of the research training group. In small groups, a wide variety of issues were discussed, technology was tested, and much more. We hope that the intensive preparation will be worthwhile and that the interim evaluation will be positive, so that the interdisciplinary and innovative research at the Research Training Group can continue.
