The Namur main meeting is an annual meeting of the Fachgemeinschaft für Automatisierungstechnik and this year was dedicated to the Module Type Package (MTP). In a presentation by Alexander Horch (HIMA) with our PhD students Anselm Klose and Florian Pelzer, the progress of the Safety MTP was presented. The practical testing of the concept at the Safety-Demonstrator was fully convincing. The screenshot from the meeting during the presentation with insights into the P2O-Lab underlines this excellently. From our point of view, the focus day on MTP was a complete success and gave a good overview of current developments in modular automation.
