Lab visits
The various professorships and institutes involved in the Research Training Group cover a wide range of innovative research areas. In order to get to know them, staff members of the respective professorships gave the doctoral researchers of the RTG an insight into the laboratories and research facilities during lab tours. This included, among other things, technology used, methods as well as current research projects. The following labs were visited from the start of the research training group:
- Eye movement labs at the Chair of Engineering Psychology and Applied Cognitive Research for the investigation of visual attention by means of eye movements as well as problem solving and decision processes in human-machine systems
- Process-to-Order (P2O) Lab of the Chair of Process Control Systems: The P2O Lab addresses the current challenges of the process industries. Based on the approaches of modularization and digitalization, research is conducted to determine which requirement models, methods, tools and process modules must be fulfilled in order to derive, implement and evaluate a suitable production process from the availability of modules and the production demands
- Visit at the Institute and the experimental facilities of the Chair of Agricultural Systems and Technology
- VR (Virtual Reality) Lab of the Chair of Virtual Product Engineering
- Labs of the Insitute for Biomedical Engineering
- Interactive Media Lab Dresden at the Chair of Multimedia Technology: Main research field is the natural, multimodal human computer-interaction, e.g., on and with interactive displays
- Labs at the Chair of Labor Engineering
