2. international Colloquium „Interactive Soft-Stiff-Composites - From Basic Research to Practice“

More than five years of successful research are done in the Research Training Group 2430 “Interactive Fiber Elastomers”. Well-known experts and the scientists will present their results in the fields of Material Development, Modelling and Simulation, Sensors / Actuators and Regulation / Control as well as System Development and Characterisation on an international colloquium at May, 27th-28th 2024 in Dresden. The leading organisation of the event will be done mostly by the junior researchers themselves. A Scientific Advisory Board consisting of renowned experts and scientists from all over the world is nominated.
Within the scope of this colloquium, 27 lectures are scheduled, including these internationally accepted scientists:

There will be no conference fee.
As scientist or industry representative from the fields of Textile Technology, Polymer Technology, Soft Robotics or similar, you will gain insights into the newest material und model developments as well as applications of soft robotics.
If you successfully finished a Masters degree in the topics of Computational Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or Physics and you are targeting to a PhD programme, feel free to contact as we are recruiting eleven PhD students from November 2024 (acc. E13 TV-L).
Particular promising young researchers who wish to become a PhD within the RTG 2430 can apply for support in travel costs to the colloquium. Please send your CV and references.
