The Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology at TU Dresden regularly offers workshops on "Design with Fusion360" and "Introduction to plastic 3D printing".
On 04.06.2024, RTG 2868 member Dipl.-Ing. Florian Lehmann introduced interested students from the Gustav-Zeuner vocational school in Dresden to design techniques.
In addition to questions such as "What is an STL file?" and "How is a G-code structured?", the first steps on an FDM printer were also demonstrated and process questions answered.
