New PhD positions in RTG 2868 D³ - apply now!

The Research Training Group RTG 2868 D³ - Data-driven Design of Resilient Metamaterials is looking for reinforcement: Several positions as Research Associates / PhD students are available for the second cohort.

The doctoral candidates work in a creative, interdisciplinary and internationally networked research environment on data-driven methods for the development of resilient metamaterials. The advertised projects combine computer-aided mechanics, materials science, additive manufacturing, mathematics, physics and data-based modeling.

The positions start on October 1, 2026 and are limited until March 31, 2030. Applications are possible until June 15, 2026.
