Diversity Monitoring - Student survey at the TU Dresden

Is TU Dresden a university for everyone? It’s true that terms such as open-mindedness and diversity can be found in the teaching guidelines. But how open and diversity-sensitive is studying at the TU Dresden in practice?

In order to answer these and other questions, the research project "Diversity Monitoring - Vielfalt durch Transparenz fördern" ("Diversity Monitoring - Promoting Diversity through Transparency") was granted as part of the TU Dresden's "Diversität gezielt gefördert" ("Diversity Targeted Funding") call. The aim is to draw attention to the diverse life situations and characteristics of the students and to sensitize about different requirements and needs of the students.

The starting point for this is an online survey of all students at Dresden University of Technology, which is intended to capture the diversity within our university and to uncover related difficulties and potentials, especially with regard to teaching aspects.

Please also conduct this survey even if you haven’t had any contact with the topic of diversity yet or if you don’t see any challenges in this regard at the TU Dresden. The survey is available in German and English as well as in an version that is optimised for screenreader users.
