What happens with all the data? – Interactive TUD exhibition //DataSpaces
The interactive exhibition “//DataSpaces. Experience Science” has been enjoying great popularity since its opening. Until the end of February, visitors of all ages can immerse themselves in the digital world through more than 15 interactive exhibits at the Andreas-Pfitzmann-Building. A series of accompanying events also provides opportunities to engage in discussions on topics such as artificial intelligence, IT security, and digital innovation.
The audience's favourite: the ‘sandbox’
One of the highlights for visitors is the ‘sandbox’ – an interactive exhibit where a swarm simulation becomes tangible and can be controlled simply by playing with the sand.
"This exhibit is particularly fascinating – it demonstrates how important haptic experiences can be in making even highly complex topics accessible in a low-threshold way," explains the exhibition team.
Accompanying program
- Visualizing Computing (05.02.2025, 17:00-18:30) – Experience how art and science merge in data visualisation. A dialogue event with short presentations and experts on the podium.
