The faculty of computer science
Mission
Our faculty recognizes, defines, and communicates future topics in computer science and makes substantial contributions to a responsible, sustainable, and human-centered design of digital realities.
We are both a reliable and agile place for tangible excellence. We train highly qualified and responsible graduates and young academics with our cooperative spirit that focuses on individual support.
Our cross-disciplinary research and teaching are internationally oriented, at the same time with a regional focus. We combine fundamental research at the highest international level with applied research that has a strong impact and transfer potential.
Our aim is to make future technologies explainable, to democratize computer science knowledge in research and teaching, and thus to make it openly and inclusively accessible for the benefit of humankind.
