­Teaching awards for excellent teaching

As part of the faculty project show OUTPUT.DD, the iFSR honored the best teachers of the Faculty of Computer Science. All students of our faculty were invited to vote.

The teaching award for the best lecturer went to Prof. Dr. Florian Tschorsch for his very understandable lecture style, his special didactic skills, his slide design and his "very cool and super nice manner" in dealing with the students.

Two courses were selected as the best: "Formal Systems" and "Theoretical Computer Science and Logic". Prof. Dr. Markus Krötzsch and Dr. Stephan Mennicke received the teaching award for their good and committed teaching and for the fact that they convey every subject matter in an exciting and humorous way.

The Chair of Operating Systems and thus Prof. Dr-Ing. Horst Schirmeier and his team were awarded the teaching prize as the best chair. It was emphasized that every course is planned and implemented in the best possible way and that the teaching content is explained very clearly and well. The great support for the students at all times was also honored.
