Dear first-year students!

Welcome to our Faculty and welcome to life at university. We are pleased to welcome you here in Dresden – one of the most attractive universities in Germany for studies and graduation in the innovative discipline of Computer Science.

During the next couple of years you will be diving into exciting and challenging areas of study including a broad variety of interesting focuses, which will enable you to go your own way.

We are with you – right from the start!

During “Erstsemesterwoche” (First Year’s activity week), “Fachschaft Informatik” (Student’s Union for Computer Science) will convey to you their accumulated “know-how” in order to get you started smoothly. In “Erstsemestereinführung (ESE)” (First Year’s Introductory Talk) you will learn about the curriculum of studies and about various institutions of TU Dresden, you will receive information about contact persons that are important for your university life – and of course you will get tips and hints for life outside the university, too.

Because – Dresden has something to offer!
