The institute focusses on artificial intelligence in research and teaching
The Institute of Artificial Intelligence currently comprises four chairs and one young investigater group, whose topics cover a wide range of areas in Artificial Intelligence.
The institute's research groups are offering lectures, tutorials, and seminars in the Bachelor, Master and Diploma programmes of the faculty. In particular, they offer advanced courses in the special master programmes Computational Modeling and Simulation as well as Computaional Logic.
The institute's research topics range from highly theoretical foundational research to application-oriented cooperations with industrial partners. Various research projects on national and international level foster vibrant exchange with colleagues world-wide.
