Schuelerrechenzentrum
The Student Computing Center (SRZ) Dresden sees itself as a center for the promotion of gifted students in the fields of computer science and electronics. Building on tradition, it serves extracurricular education in these fields from the perspective of the respective subject areas and contributes to deepening and expanding knowledge, learning and consolidating relevant working methods and improving the prerequisites for studying or working in these fields.

The LRC supports various activities for high-achieving students such as "Special Learning Achievements", internal school projects and participation in competitions such as "Jugend forscht" or the "Saxon Computer Science Competition". The LRC advises and supports parents and teachers in recognizing and promoting talent, for example by offering further training events.
Pupils, their parents and teachers are made aware of the LRC through various forms of public relations work. An open day is held every year at the end of the summer vacation. It serves to present the plans for the following school year and the project work that has been developed in the working groups.
Once a year, the LRC presents itself at the CareerStart trade fair for training and further education. Outstanding student projects are presented to the public.
