Computer Science in Schools
The Chair of Didactics of Computer Science aims to show children and teens how interesting, multi-faceted and societally relevant computer science is. We pursue this goal in the education of teacher training students, advanced training and continuing education for teachers, and research on the didactics of computer science, as well as with our new extracurricular learning space – the SchoolLab EduInf.

Computer Science in Schools
Ensuring the continued development of computer science as a school subject requires uniform principles and standards. Likewise, current developments in computer science itself must be considered from an educational perspective at schools.
As a co-organizer of the Saxon Computer Science in Schools Day, the Chair of Didactics of Computer Science plays a key role in supporting school teachers in this area through talks and workshops. Just like at the Königstein Talks, these events invite participants to engage in meaningful discourse.
