Registration periods for examinations in the winter semester 2022/2023

Dear students of the Faculty of Computer Science,
 
even though the winter semester has just started, the goal is still not so far away - the exams.
The most important parts of your studies do not only want to be served with acquired competences, but are also subject to legal requirements. One of these requirements is the timely registration for examinations. The examination regulations stipulate: "The student must register for the performance of examinations. ... The form and deadline of registration as well as the form of deregistration are determined by the examination board and announced at the beginning of each semester in the usual manner of the faculty."

Accordingly, we would like to inform you about the relevant dates for your exams:

CORE EXAM PERIOD 
The core exam period is TUD centrally determined and

☞ begins on 06.02.2023 and ends on 04.03.2023.

EXAMINATIONS
Examination registration for the German degree programs is done as usual by registration via jExam; registration for written examinations in the *English-language* degree programs is done via selma:

☞ in the period between 03.01.2023 and 15.01.2023, 23:59.

INDIVIDUAL EXAMINATION PERFORMANCES
This refers to all examination performances that do not conclude a module as a written examination. This includes seminar and project work, lectures and, above all, oral examinations.
German-speaking study programs: You register the individual examination by means of the online assistant for examination registrations.

☞ Registration takes place immediately (!), but only until January 15, 2023.

If you do not find a module in the online assistant, please consult the form pages of your study program first! In case of doubt, please contact the examinations office!

English-speaking degree programs: You register the individual examination by means of selma. 

☞ Semester-long examinations (e.g. seminar papers, project work, etc.) can be registered until 30.11.2022, 23:59.

☞ Oral examinations have a registration deadline until 15.01.2023, 23:59 and can already be registered now.

LANGUAGE EXAMS
Registration for the language exams is done via OPAL:

☞ in the period between 09.01.2023 and 22.01.2023, 23:59.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that at this point in time all Corona-specific stipulations in the examination process have been cancelled, so that the organization of examinations will be in accordance with your examination regulations and module descriptions.

!!!ABSOLUTELY NOTE!!!
All deadlines are binding! No late registrations will be accepted for exams whose registration deadline has passed. In such a case you will not be able to participate in the corresponding exam!
