Registration periods for examinations in the winter semester 2023/2024

Dear students of the Faculty of Computer Science,
 
even though the winter semester has just started, the goal is still not far away - the (successful) completion of exams.

The most important parts of your studies do not only want to be served with acquired competences, but are also subject to legal requirements. One of these requirements is the timely registration for examinations. The examination regulations stipulate: "The student must register for the performance of examinations. ... The form and deadline of registration as well as the form of deregistration are determined by the examination board and announced at the beginning of each semester in the usual manner of the faculty."

Accordingly, we would like to inform you about the relevant dates for your examinations:

Registration periods

• written examination: 04.01.till 18.01.2024 
  An exception is the exam INF-B110-1/INF-D110-1 "Introduction to Mathematics". This exam will take place in December. The registration period will be announced separately.

• oral examination: 16.10.2023 till 18.01.2024 
  the following types of examinations are assigned to this registration period: oral examinations / presentations / colloquium / presentation

• semester-accompanying: 16.10. till 30.11.2023 

  The following types of examinations are assigned to this registration period: Seminar papers / Project work / Internship protocol / Exercises (PVL) / Preliminary examination (type not clearly stated) / Internship report / Project report. 

• language examination: from 08.01. till 21.01.2024
• study-accompanying examinations: 01.10.2023 till 31.03.2024 
  The following examination types are assigned to this registration period: Major Certificate (D-950) / Professional Internship (D-930) / Internship (DSE-20) / Research Project (CMS-05) / Team Project (CMS).

The type of examination can be found in the respective module description. 

Deregistration Deadlines: 

• Written examination according to PO (§ "General Admission Requirements and Admission Procedures") 3 working days before the examination date
• Oral examinations according to PO (§ "General Admission Requirements and Admission Procedures") 2 weeks before the examination date.
• Semester-accompanying examination performances: 30.11.2023
• Study-accompanying examination performances: 8 weeks after issue

!!!ABSOLUTELY NOTE!!!

• All deadlines are binding! No late registrations will be accepted for exams whose registration deadline has passed. In such a case you will not be able to participate in the corresponding exam!
• Registrations for examinations are only valid for the current semester!
