The planning of examinations for the current summer semester is in full swing. With the following information we would like to inform you about the current deadlines, notes on the organization of exams as well as special features in the context of exams for the summer semester 2021.

Exam Enrollments / Registrations

• The enrollment for the exams takes place in the period

from 21.06.2021 until 04.07.2021, 23.59 
(Exception: the jExam enrollment for the exams starts on 22.06.2021 from 15:00).

This period for exam enrollment must be adhered to. 
There will be no possibilities for late enrollment!

• Since we are still in Corona mode, please be sure to follow the instructions regarding exam enrollment and registration on our Covid19 webpage!

• For a large part of the oral examinations in the bachelor, diploma and master programs of Computer Science and Media Computer Science, a new online assistant has been published, which is intended to support you in correctly filling out the forms for the examination registrations. The online assistant is linked on the form webpages of the study programs at the corresponding exams. If you encounter any problems while using the assistant, please inform our staff in the examination office via !

Examination schedule

We hereby publish the (preliminary) examination schedule of the Faculty of Computer Science for the summer semester 2021. 

Note: Please note that the forms of examinations may differ from the forms specified in the module descriptions even in the current summer (corona) semester! For this reason: Please inform yourself via the examination schedule as well as via the websites of the professorships in which form and with which duration the examinations are conducted.

Note on the so-called corona free attempt: The Senate has decided that students can decide for themselves whether or not to accept individual examination results of the (corona) semesters (summer semester 2020 up to and including summer semester 2021). In the case of rejection of an examination result, they declare this to the examination office by the end of the following semester using the appropriate form. In this case, the examination performance can be taken again in the same examination attempt, whereby the later assessment counts.
