General Program & Student Counseling
If you are interested in the International Master's Program in Distributed Systems Engineering but unsure if this is the right program for you, we will be glad to answer all of your questions. You can send your inquiries directly to our Academic Advisors for DSE. This is also the right address for all DSE-specific questions concerning application and aptitude assessment which aren't answered by our FAQs.
Also, questions that arise during your studies in the DSE master's program, e.g., inquiries regarding your eligibility for certain courses, program policies, prerequisites and certificates, course offerings, etc., can be answered by our Academic Advisors for DSE.
Questions related to exams should be addressed to the Examinations Office for international students.
Organizational Issues
The German bureaucracy can sometimes be a bit overwhelming. To help you get settled for your stay in Germany, our university offers several support options. If you're unsure whom to ask for help, don't hesitate to contact our Academic Advisors for DSE. In order to reduce their workload, though, please, use the following list and try to find an appropriate contact person yourself:
- For university enrollment questions, visa problems, and general bureaucracy issues, contact the International Office.
- Housing issues: Go to the Studentenwerk.
- Questions on certain courses: please, contact the respective course instructor or our Academic Advisors for DSE.
- General questions regarding campus life and activities: the "Fachschaftsrat" will be most helpful here as well.
