I lead the Workload Management team within SAP Cloud Infrastructure, and I am a PhD student at the Chair of Distributed and Networked Systems at TU Dresden, working with Dr. Iris Braun and Prof. Dr. Matthias Wählisch. I aim to enable highly scalable cloud infrastructures that can cope with diverse workloads by advancing scheduling and placement systems. I have a decade of experience at SAP and deep expertise in Kubernetes, Prometheus, OpenStack, cloud-native technologies, and cloud architectures. My research focuses on designing and building an event-driven initial placement and scheduling service for compute, storage, network workloads, and beyond, based on algorithmic and heuristic insights.
