Research Infrastructure

At the Chair of Distributed and Networked Systems, we operate various IT infrastructures to conduct first-class research. This includes

• an Autonomous System connected at various exchange points.
• multiple IPv4 and IPv6 prefixes.
• virtualization to emulate large-scale networks such as the Internet.
• an IoT Lab for experiments.

We are member of RIPE and DNS-OARC.

Furthermore, we closely collaborate with several academic and commercial stakeholders to share data to ultimately improve Internet communication.
