We provide comprehensive answers to challenging research questions, but we also ask tough questions.
The Chair of Distributed and Networked Systems works at the intersection of networking, distributed systems, and security. We believe that the successful design and implementation of distributed, networked systems require a thorough understanding of network protocols and architectures, algorithms, and security aspects. To achieve this, we conduct theoretical and experimental research. Furthermore, we measure and analyze existing networks and services to learn from present deployment.
Stay tuned. More is coming soon.
During the last years, our work spured new research fields as well as critically revisited the current state of art and thus led to new insights. Our efforts are driven by the hope that sound research has an impact in practice to shape the digital transformation. Our publications are the best way to tell you what we do.
