Invited Lecture of Gene Tsudik on Presence Attestation

Establishing trust on a new mobile device despite a potentially compromised operating system seems infeasible. Given a trusted hardware module it may be possible, yet, attesting the presence of a specific trusted module on a device at hand, and establishing a secure channel is still challenging.
Gene Tsudik is introducing a protocol for such presence attestation in a talk at TU Dresden, on March 23rd, 2018 (1pm, APB 3105).
