23rd DFN-Cert Conference

As in the previous year, this years 23rd DFN-Cert Conference took place from 9th to 10th February in Hamburg's Grand Elysee Hotel. About 300 participants listened to various interesting contributions under the umbrella of "Sicherheit in vernetzten Systemen" (Security in computer systems) from the field of IT-security. Particularly contributions concerning USB and RFID security and a critical consideration of new IT-security laws were cause for lively discussions. From our chair for data protection and data security Stephan Escher contributed with a talk under the title "Durchführung eines integrierten Anti-Phishing Training" (embedded training against phishing) concerning the results from last year's sensibility training against phishing at the TU Dresden. The response was positive and interested.
