Gökhan Akgün is a Ph.D. stu­dent in Computer Science in the Adaptive Dynamic Systems (ADS) re­se­arch group at Technische Universität Dresden, Ger­ma­ny, since August 2017. Be­fo­re joi­ning the re­se­arch group, he stu­died  Elec­tro­ni­cal En­gi­nee­ring and In­for­ma­ti­on Tech­no­lo­gy  at the Ruhr-Uni­ver­si­ty in Bochum where he re­cei­ved his Ba­che­lor de­gree in 2014 and his Mas­ter de­gree in 2017. His cur­rent re­se­arch in­te­rests in­clu­de me­thods and al­go­rith­ms for the ef­fi­ci­ent pro­gramming and di­stri­bu­ti­on of ap­p­li­ca­ti­ons for he­te­ro­ge­neous sys­tems that in­clu­de FPGAs.

Research Interests:

His cur­rent re­se­arch in­te­rests in­clu­de real-time operating systems, embedded systems and control theory applications on reconfigurable hardware.
