Thema: “Erweiterung des Network-on-Chip-Simulators Noxim um zusätzliche Routingalgorithmen und Verkehrsmuster”
Betreuerin: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Diana Göhringer
A modern SoC accommodates a high number of IP cores to enable complex applications. Consequently, the communication demands increases, but neither Point-to-Point connections nor bus systems are able to fulfil them. In this context, the NoC architecture is a promising approach. By the help of simulations, NoCs parameters are configured to meet the requirements of the application. In this work, the simulator Noxim is chosen and extended to implement the routing algorithm LNM. Thereby, the design space of a NoC is extended.
