Knowledge transfer

TU Dresden's internet-based research information system (Forschungsinformationssystem, FIS) enables its users to continually update research and transfer data and to search through the most up-to-date information. Following extensive modernisation, the FIS search now offers a better overview of the system's contents and an improved search function.

Users from the fields of science, economics and politics will find first-hand information about current research projects, scientific publications, property rights as well as dissertations and doctoral theses. This information is supplemented by expert profiles for the professors and details of the technical facilities available at the institutes. The FIS is currently being given an overhaul in collaboration with the SLUB in order to create a more comprehensive and quality-assured way of presenting information on the research being conducted at TU Dresden.
