TECHNOLOGY OVERCOMES BARRIERS
For nearly 200 years, the Faculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering has been providing research and teaching in the service of technology for people. With 13 institutes, more than 50 professores and around 3000 students, it is on of the largest faculties at TU Dresden. The six courses of study: mechanical engineering, process engineering and natural product engineering, materials science, textile and clothing technology, mechatronics and regenerative energy systems combine a a lot of specialisation areas - from general mechanical engineering, lightweight construction, aerospace engineering, bioprocess engineering or food technology are only a few of the offered fields of study which can be chosen from depending on the course of studies.
