Building instructions for expanding the toy car into a Saftycar
Thank you for visiting us at the Institute of Manufacturing during the Dresden Science Night 2026. At our station, you were able to experience the production process of a toy car step by step and take a finished specimen home with you.
With these instructions , we are now going one step further: we are converting the racing car into a safety car with working flashing lights.
The electronics kit selected for this purpose has been deliberately chosen for its complexity so that the small soldering project can be implemented in an uncomplicated and family-friendly way. Only minimal previous knowledge of soldering is required.
