genialsozial - 700€ for the work against poverty

On June 18th, 2024, the 20th day of action "genialsozial - Deine Arbeit gegen Armut" took place in Saxony. The Chair of Forming and Machining Processes invited the 10th grade of Vitzthum Gymnasium Dresden to TU Dresden. As head of the professorship, Prof. Brosius did not miss the opportunity to accompany the students in the morning. The class was welcomed in the Mechanical-Technological Collection n of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering - the Kühneleum. The students were given the task "Think up a 3D puzzle". This consisted of constructing a template and model for a 3D jigsaw puzzle. So there was no shortage of challenges for the day. The morning ended with a trip to the canteen.

The Chair of Forming and Machining Processes donated €700 to the Saxon Youth Foundation for the students' efforts on this day.
