What do we offer?
The DVS student group belongs to the DVS Dresden district association and has been organizing events in the field of mechanical engineering, especially joining technology, since 2002. The aim is to put theory into practice. We offer numerous events for this purpose:
- Project meetings in the form of the regulars' table mentioned below
- Participation in lectures, conferences, excursions
- Further training in welding and production technology skills
- Joint leisure activities
- Contacts with:
- Graduates and welding engineers
- Companies from the joining technology or with joining technology applications
- Networking within the DVS
- Networks within the Chair of Joining Technology and Assembly, e.g. presentation of assignments, dissertations and SHK positions
- to students of different semesters and specializations
We are always happy to see new faces from all possible fields of study. If we have aroused your interest, simply contact us by e-mail or visit the DVS student group at their cozy regulars' table in ZEU-141 or in the welding laboratory (access from the ZEU inner courtyard).
Regulars' table
The DVS student group meets regularly every 14 days in the current semester at 18:15 in ZEU/141 "Kühneleum" for their regulars' table with refreshing drinks and relaxed conversations. You can find the exact dates here.
Contact the student group
To stay up to date, you can subscribe to an e-mail distribution list here . We use this to inform you regularly about upcoming events and important decisions made at our regulars' table. This makes it possible for people who have not attended a regulars' table to find out everything that is currently happening.
