Prof. Andrés Fabián Lasagni, awarded with the Materials Science and Technology Prize 2017 from the Federation of European Materials Societies

Our college, Prof. Andrés Lasagni, from the Institute of Manufacturing Technologies at the Technische Universität Dresden has been awarded with the “Materials Science and Technology Prize 2017” from the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS). This prize is given to young European materials scientists in recognition of a significant contribution to a field of Materials Science and Engineering. The prize will be given during EUROMAT 2017 Conference, to be performed this year in Thessaloniki (Greece), where Lasagni has been invited to give a plenary lecture.

Furthermore, more the 2500 abstracts have been submitted this year to the conference and a very impressive number of companies will expose their products and services at the conference fair.
