Visit of international students to our labs
On 5 March, the Chair of Laser-based Manufacturing welcomed a group of 15 high school students for a hands-on visit to the university and its research facilities.
During the visit, we gave a live demonstration of laser surface structuring, offering the students a practical glimpse into cutting-edge research.
Furthermore, several research projects were also introduce such as the OPeraTIC project, explaining its goals and real-world relevance in an accessible and engaging way.
The students came from Temperley School in Argentina and were visiting Dresden as part of a broader educational trip.
The initiative aimed to promote research and education while inspiring the students to consider future studies in STEM-related fields and careers.
