Dresden Science Night 2024

The Dresden Science Night will take place again this year on June 14. The Chair of Dynamics and Mechanism Design will also be represented with contributions at the Johannstadt campus.

"Aerial manipulation" in the drone laboratory

In the drone laboratory of the Chair of Dynamics and Mechanism Design, we demonstrate the potential of fully-actuated drones for use as flying work platforms. The demonstration of a fully-actuated drone takes place every hour from 5.30 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. and lasts about 20 minutes.

Flying robots

At 8 p.m., Prof. Beitelschmidt will explain in a lecture how fully-actuated drones function as flying robots and how they can be used in a variety of ways. The lecture will last approx. 25 minutes. 35 places are available.
