Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Dresden (HTWD)
Location: Dresden, Saxony, Germany
Expertise: Chemical engineering, process intensification, sustainability, miniaturized reactors, digitalization
HTW Dresden is a research-oriented university of applied sciences with around 4,800 students and around 160 professors. With its practice-oriented teaching in 42 degree programs and eight faculties, it is one of the leading universities of applied sciences in Germany. The university focuses on sustainability, resource conservation and digitalization. In the chemical and process engineering degree programs, the focus is on combining theory and practice - including through an integrated practical semester and project-based learning.
In the InnoLAB project, HTW contributes its expertise in process intensification, the miniaturization of reactors and practice-oriented teaching. HTW is responsible for coordinating the preparatory courses for students and for dissemination in scientific conferences and journals.
