EVT on the Move: REWE Team Challenge 2026

On June 17, 2026, a team from the Chair of Energy Process Engineering (EVT) participated in the REWE Team Challenge in Dresden. Four staff members tackled the approximately five-kilometer course through Dresden’s Old Town and enjoyed an evening of sports together in a special atmosphere.

The REWE Team Challenge is one of Germany’s largest corporate running events and brings together thousands of participants from companies, universities, and institutions in the region every year. The race offers an excellent opportunity to strengthen team spirit and foster interaction outside of the daily work routine.

For the EVT team, the shared experience was the main focus. The varied route through the historic city center, the support from numerous spectators along the course, and the finish at Rudolf-Harbig Stadium made the event a special experience for everyone involved.

This successful participation demonstrates once again that team spirit and commitment are lived out not only in research and teaching, but also through shared activities outside of everyday work life.
