The Chair of Energy Process Engineering at TU Dresden is looking for an experienced design engineer in the field of mechanical and plant engineering, specializing in the recycling sector, to start as soon as possible. Take the opportunity to become part of a dynamic team and accompany innovative projects from conception to production.
Your tasks:
- Responsibility for the design and execution as well as planning and project management of sophisticated and complex machines and systems in the recycling sector
- Creation of technical drawings using CAD in the area of plant technology and piping arrangement
- Design and calculation of machines and plant components according to the required functionality as well as the modification design of existing machines and plants (optimization and adaptation of existing machines, components and parts)
- Supporting the production of the (co-)designed assemblies and/or machines
- Independent clarification of the required interfaces (components, standards, regulations)
- Drawing and document management as well as the creation of parts lists and material requirements
Your profile:
- Successfully completed engineering studies (Dipl.-Ing., Bachelor or Master), alternatively further training as a technician or training as a design engineer or technical draftsman
- Several years of professional experience in plant and power plant construction as well as experience in project management is an advantage
- Confident handling of technical documentation, e.g. R&I, isometrics, BetrSichV, welding documentation as well as knowledge of the application of valid standards, guidelines and technical regulations
- Good IT skills (MS Office) and experience in the use of 2D and 3D CAD applications (AutoCAD, Microstation)
- Basic knowledge of plant and document labeling systems in plant construction
- Customer-oriented thinking and good knowledge of English desirable
