Job offer: Project engineer wanted at EVT

The Chair of Energy Process Engineering at TUD Dresden University of Technology is seeking to fill the position of Project Engineer (m/f/d) (pay grade E 13 TV-L, subject to personal requirements) as of 15.06.2025. This is a temporary position (until 31.05.2026) with the option of extension.

Tasks:

- Analysis of energy-saving measures for energy-intensive processes in the basic materials industry
- Development of new solutions for energy supply based on renewable energy sources, including storage solutions and the use of hydrogen as a secondary energy source
- Balancing of the process
- Simulations of individual processes or equipment (e.g. heat exchangers, reactors for synthesis, etc.)

Your profile:

- University degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or energy technology
- Good to very good knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer and process engineering or interest in familiarizing yourself with these areas
- Enthusiasm, initiative and commitment
- Above-average communication skills and team orientation
- Independent, structured way of working as well as strong communication and presentation skills
- High sense of quality and responsibility
- Good command of the relevant IT and EDP applications
- good command of English
