We are looking for a motivated project engineer (m/f/d) who is willing to develop innovative energy solutions for the primary industry. At the Chair of Energy Process Engineering at TU Dresden, we offer you the opportunity to use your technical know-how and creative ideas to make energy-intensive processes more efficient and sustainable.
Your tasks:
- Analysis of energy-saving measures for energy-intensive processes in the basic materials industry
- Developing new energy supply solutions based on renewable energy sources, including storage solutions and the use of hydrogen as a secondary energy source
- Balancing of the process
- Simulations of individual processes or equipment (e.g. heat exchangers, reactors for synthesis, etc.)
What you should bring with you:
- University degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or energy technology
- Good to very good knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer and process engineering or interest in familiarizing yourself with these areas
- Enthusiasm, initiative and commitment
- Above-average communication skills and team orientation
- Independent, structured way of working as well as strong communication and presentation skills
- High sense of quality and responsibility
- Good command of the relevant IT and EDP applications
- good command of English
