Outstanding Achievement Award for our colleague Dr. rer. nat. N. Gudipati
The Outstanding Achievement Award was presented at Dresden City Hall on December 1, 2024.
We are delighted to announce that our colleague and head of the gas purification research group, Dr. rer. nat. Neeraja Sinha Gudipati, has been awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award 2024, presented by the Free State of Saxony. This award honors the special commitment of young foreign personalities under the age of 28 and their extraordinary contributions in the field of research and development.
Prof. Dr. Ursula Staudinger, Rector of TU Dresden, congratulated Dr. Gudipati on her success.
Mrs. Gudipati studied Chemical Sciences at the University of Hyderabad, India, from 2012 to 2017. She successfully completed her PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology in 2023. Her research work titled “Copper Bismuth Oxide and its modifications for Electrochemical Sensing Applications” was internationally recognized. Since September 2023, she has been contributing her expertise and passion for innovative research to our Chair of Energy Process Engineering.
The award ceremony took place on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. in the plenary hall of Dresden City Hall. Guests of honor included Jan Donhauer (Mayor for Education, Youth and Sport), Minister of State Katja Meier (Minister of State for Justice and for Democracy, Europe and Equality) and other representatives from politics and administration.
The Outstanding Achievement Award is based on a cooperation of the Saxon government and the Dresden Integration and Foreigners' Advisory Council.
We congratulate Mrs. Gudipati on this well-deserved award and are proud to have her on our team.
