The Chair of Materials Technology

With its dedicated team of scientists, doctoral students and technicians the Chair of Materials Technology makes important contributions to the areas of teaching and research in the faculty of mechanical engineering. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the problems in modern material technology the complex problems need to be worked on collectively by material scientists, chemists, physicists and mechanical engineers. The wide range of factual expertise is also put to good use for the students in the various courses.
