„Fascination Mechanical Engineering“ at LEIV – Experiencing Lightweight Engineering Instead of Just Hearing About It
The lecture series “Fascination Mechanical Engineering”, which gives undergraduate mechanical engineering students the opportunity to explore different specialization tracks, leaves the lecture hall and will take place this year at the Lightweight Design Validation Center (LEIV) of the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) at TU Dresden.

Undergraduate students are given the opportunity to experience lightweight engineering not only in theory, but also in practical application. On site, ILK research groups provide insights into current research projects and experimental facilities and show what further studies in lightweight engineering can look like.
The visit offers space for discussions, orientation, and a first impression of how studying in the different fields is structured.
