ILK and ANYBRID GmbH present their research and product highlights at K 2025

The Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) at TU Dresden and ANYBRID GmbH invite visitors to their joint booth at K 2025 in Düsseldorf from October 8 to 15, 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry. Visitors can find ILK and ANYBRID at the Science Campus, Hall 7, Stand SC7, and experience future-oriented innovations, interactive demonstrations, and an exclusive prize draw.

K 2025 is the largest industry event of its kind, bringing together experts, decision-makers, and innovators from around the world. At the trade fair, ILK will showcase its latest technologies, offer opportunities for networking, and engage with potential partners from industry and research. In addition, interested visitors will have the opportunity on October 13 to engage in direct discussions with ILK Board Member Prof. Maik Gude.

Visitors to the booth can explore innovative projects such as an integrated production cell for hybrid thermoplastic hollow components, sustainable recycling and reuse strategies for composite materials from the aerospace and wind energy sectors, as well as resource-efficient lightweight engineering solutions for the mobility of the future. With a carefully curated selection of additional projects on material efficiency, sustainability, and resource conservation, ILK provides a comprehensive picture of how research is transformed into tangible innovation. The program also features the DigiKunst project, where visitors can use VR headsets to experience the processes of an injection molding machine virtually and interactively. This is particularly valuable for industry partners, as the application can be directly transferred into their own operations, efficiently, scalable, and easily integrated into practice.

An interactive challenge with prizes, organized together with the ILK spin-off ANYBRID GmbH, offers participants the chance to win attractive prizes worth €1,500.
