E2 - SmaComp
Self-Diagnosing and Self Regulating Materials
SELF-DIAGNOSIS AND SELF-REGULATION * INTEGRATION OF SENSING AND ACTUATING ELEMENTS * FREE PROGRAMMABLE * SELF-LEARNING
Contents:
Scientific development of material, technological, signal measuring and information analysis foundations for the development of polymer based „Smart Composites” with integrated systems for self-diagnosis and self-regulation.
Objectives:
- Design of diagnostic systems for selected multi component materials.
- Development of material compatible functional elements for self-diagnosis and self-regulation as well as adopted manufacturing processes for the integration of sensor and actuator elements. Elaboration of novel information analysis methods.
- Modelling and simulation of materials and structures for the component design.
- Production and analysis of anticipative technology demonstrators made of self-diagnosing and self-regulating „Smart Composites”.
