Virtual Tour of UTC Dresden for the Rolls-Royce Doctorate Network

On 28th May, the Rolls-Royce Doctorate Network organised its first virtual tour of the UTC in Dresden, Germany. Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Maik Gude, the UTC Director, presented an impressive talk about "Lightweight Structures and Materials and Robust Design", which highlighted the advanced technologies that are used at UTC Dresden. This provided a valuable overview of UTC Dresden to the audience. The attendance of this virtual tour was excellent, with interesting and sufficient information about UTC Dresden. Members who joined the tour were very satisfied with this experience, judging from the feedback survey.

This event also brought Rolls-Royce researchers from different UTCs closer together and provided opportunities to communicate, as well as potentially collaborate, in the future.
