Session at the Fly-In. Trends and research in the field of all-electric and hybrid-electric flying

On May 10th, the UTC Dresden held a lecture session at the Fly-In event of the EUROAVIA Dresden e. V. together with Rolls-Royce. In several presentations, current trends and research activities in the field of all-electric and hybrid-electric flying were presented by Rolls-Royce Electrical and the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) at the TU Dresden. In addition, practical examples for the development and validation of hybrid lightweight structures were presented. The aerospace students from all over Europe had the opportunity to discover the possibilities for cooperation with TU Dresden and Rolls-Royce during their studies and when starting their careers.
Fly-Ins are multi-day events organised by EUROAVIA Dresden e.V., an aerospace student group at TU Dresden. This year's Fly-In was carried out by the Dresden group. Under the motto "Elevate a beautiful place", the international EUROAVIA spirit was brought to the river Elbe.
