Research
The Chair of Flight Mechanics and Control deals with a variety of ambitious and future-oriented research topics. These range from theoretical research to its industrial applications.
Research at the Chair of Flight Mechanics and Control
The research focuses on theoretical work in the area of robust control, flight control, the control of space systems, and wind turbine control. A special focus is on the transfer of theoretical results to industrially relevant applications. This highly interdisciplinary research is supported by an experienced research group for experimental aerodynamics. This allows the Chair to work independently on typical development cycles from concept, through hardware in the loop tests, to flight testing.
