Acoustic Chambers

The institute owns a low-reflection anechoic chamber, accuracy class 1 according to DIN ISO 3745, with the following parameters:

• dimension (in m): B x T x H = 5 x 4 x 2,5
• sound absorption coefficient: > 0,99 above 100 Hz
• mechanic drive power of 100 kW with 2000 rpm, hydraulic drive power 60 + 50 kW at 350 bar

​Additionally, there is an echo chamber of 13 m³ for stationary noise investigation.
