14th IFK: Special Issue with new research findings online
We are pleased to announce that selected papers from the 14th International Fluid Power Conference, which took place in Dresden in March 2024, have now been published in a special issue of the International Journal of Fluid Power. These articles are not just reprints of the conference publications; the authors have extensively revised them and enriched them with new research results for this special issue.
The full PDFs can be accessed here: International Journal of Fluid Power.
We are particularly proud of the contributions from our Fluidtronics team:
- "Determining the flow angle in hydraulic components" by Lennard Günther
- "Adaptive meter-out control of pneumatic actuators using novel multi-stable solenoid coils" by Thomas Kramer
- "Advances in thermal monitoring of axial piston pumps" by Roman Ivantysyn
It is extremely gratifying to see the excellent work of other conference participants in this special issue:
- "Energy-efficient excavator arm using an electrohydraulic/mechanical drive network" by Lasse Schmidt
- "Fast calculation of hydrodynamic pressure in lubricated contacts" by Faras Brumand
- "Comparative analysis of the performance of external gear machines considering deformation and thermal effects" by Ajinkya Pawar
A big thank you to everyone who made the 14th IFK such a memorable and successful event! Let us continue to research innovatively, creatively and cooperatively for a sustainable future. Save the date now for the 15th IFK in Aachen, which will take place from March 9 to 11, 2026. We look forward to meeting you there!
