Moog supports practical teaching: Donation enables identical equipment for our hydraulic training panels
We are very pleased to have received generous support from Moog, who have provided us with four additional servo valves free of charge for student training. Thanks to this donation, we are now able to equip all our hydraulic training panels identically. This creates a uniform and directly comparable experimental environment – an important prerequisite for a structured and modern laboratory course.
Use in Teaching and Added Value for Students
The new components are used directly in our laboratory courses. This gives our students the opportunity to gain valuable experience working with original industrial components, as found in demanding fluid power applications worldwide. Direct interaction with this technology enhances understanding of complex system contexts and specifically prepares tomorrow’s engineers for the requirements of professional practice.
By equipping all our hydraulic training panels identically, we also achieve significant didactic benefits: small groups can conduct experiments in parallel under same conditions. This makes it easier to compare measurement results and deepens understanding of the dynamic behavior of servo valves within the system context.
