New format for practical course "Hydrostatic Steering Systems"
The new experimental setup for educational purposes at the Chair of Fluid-Mechatronic Systems offers a wide range of possibilities for carrying out practical courses. On the one hand, many different testing layouts can be flexibly implemented. On the other hand, the practical part is considerably increased by the fact that students realize their experimental setups developed in the preparatory tasks themselves. In addition, working in small groups of two to three people significantly increases the quality of the practical course.
Just in time for the start of the winter semester 2022/2023, the practical course "Hydrostatic Steering Systems", which is one of four practical courses in the series "Fluid Mechatronics in Mobile Applications", has now also been fundamentally revised so that it can be carried out on the new experimental systems. In four different subtasks and experimental setups, the students investigate the functioning and transfer characteristics of hydrostatic steering systems.
Our special thanks go to Bosch Rexroth AG, Danfoss Power Solutions GmbH & Co. OHG, Hansa-Flex Stiftung and Hydac International GmbH for their support in equipping the practical course.
